STREET BIZ is an information, promotion and network service with two main objectives.
- To encourage and create further collaboration between street performers and both the entertainment industry and the corporate world.
- And also to ensure that the needs and interests of street performers are met and maintained at the same time.

STREET BIZ is also an information resource centre keeping street performers and event or festival organizers up to date on such items as client and performer contact data, the current availability of performers, their promotional materials, and forthcoming events in need of street performers.

STREET BIZ specializes in the promotion of street performing rather than street "walkaround" theatre. This differentiation has arisen because street "walkaround" theatre practitioners are currently far more well catered for by existing agencies.

STREET BIZ aims to establish a guild of both street performers and street performance clients based on trust, honesty and professional work ethics. Consequently, it will not necessarily take on every client or street performer that wishes to utilize its services.

STREET BIZ can only well represent any particular street performer if that performer provides up-to-date and good quality promotional materials, and keeps in regular contact.

STREET BIZ aims to be as impartial and objective as possible in its advisory capacity of promoting individual performers to potential employers. All performers represented will be treated the same and any clients choice will be based on that performers availability and the strength of his/her or their promotional material.
