STRETCH Mk1 was founded in 1985 by Benni and Richard Seidel with the aim of having a contemporary, image based theatre company.

Their unique style of visual theatre has captivated audiences in over 20 countries. Because they rarely use the spoken word, their art form breaks all communication barriers and makes itself very available.

STRETCH Mk1 were amongst the Artistic Representatives for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Bid in Monaco and they have represented Australia on many levels on many occasions in many countries.
